History
HZW was founded in 1987 in response to the growing need for cost-effective environmental services. Over the years, we have enjoyed steady growth by providing quality services and traditional value. Our vision for the future is to continue growth in a managed fashion – expanding and developing new skills as the needs of our clients evolve.
Leadership
HZW, a Women-Owned Business Enterprise, is recognized as a leader in several areas, including implementation of Ohio’s Voluntary Action Program, wetlands permitting, and mergers and acquisition due diligence. Since 2005, HZW is pleased to be recognized by the State of Ohio as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise/EDGE-Certified Company. HZW is also certified as a Female Business Enterprise (FBE) by the City of Cleveland and a Small Business Enterprise (SBE) by Cuyahoga County. Our professional staff includes geologists, engineers, biologists, chemists, industrial hygienists, environmental specialists, and support staff with the technical expertise and experience to address a wide range of environmental situations.
